# The Luminaires Founder Chapter

> The Luminaires Founder Chapter is a Pasadena, California fundraising support group for Doheny Eye Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation, improvement, and restoration of human eyesight (EIN 95-2916590). Founded in 1974 by Mary L. Crary, The Luminaires have supported vision research, patient care, and eye-disease awareness for over 50 years.
